Current Employee - Production Manager says

"Too cons many to list."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"Major culture change. Used to be a family company and now it's all corporate. New President is firing everyone and the owner is gone from the scene. Plant employees never see the president on the floor."

says

"Many management changes, constant training. IT issues no response to help desk requests, Sr Managers who think employees are “in service to their co-workers”. Working on lean without understanding how to implement. They don’t want to spend money on cleaning restrooms or taking out trash (employees handle this, (unsanitary.). Low salaries and uneducated managers. Overworked and overwhelmed employees are unable to do a good job without the right tools and direction."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"low salaries, bad training and not paid lunches"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"FLEXcon is in a state of transition. Unfortunately, during the past several years, some of the best leaders and a healthy number of committed employees have left or are being overlooked/ignored/pushed out while the most political "yes-men" are getting the attention despite their ability to offer any real strategic value to the company. The net result is a burgeoning climate of complacency, mistrust and anger that is adversely impacting the company's ability to deliver."

Current Employee - Technician says

"old school. glass ceiling, rigid, out of date."

Former Employee - Technical Service Representative says

"Currently being operated by a "Consultant" who is pushing the company to be very corporate and they're unsuccessfully trying to turn a complex custom manufacturing operation into assembly line work. Most of the elite workforce has moved on. High average employee age so half of them will be retiring within 5 years Very few employees under 40 Rife with gossip"

Former Employee - Coater says

"Many thanks for your review. FLEXcon Europe pride ourselves on team work as its one of our core competencies. Human Resources."

Leadership Team Member (Current Employee) says

"Was a family company. I don't give them more than 2 years before they are sold. The company was progressive and growing from the 70's all the way through the early 2000's but then it took a turn and unfortunately the leadership made some very poor decisions. Extensive amount of financial mistakes and poor leadership choices.compensationno work life balance, management is not trustworthy"

Marketing Communications (Former Employee) says

"This company is only innovation in their products and services to clients. They are a very management top heavy that loves to tear down their associates. Managers are cruel, rude and ruthless towards their staff to the point where you are constantly walking on eggshells. The management claims the want employee engagement and collaboration but their office setup is designed to discourage that. Also trying to get tasks done or create process improvement takes an act of congress. Everything is a "committee" with endless meetings that never accomplish a goal. I do not recommend them."

Machine Operator/Packer (Former Employee) says

"This used to be an awesome place to work for up until Myles the owner passed then the place went in the toilet!! Horrible supervisors who think they can bully and treat u like dirt!! I worked there for 21+ yrs. Would've stayed but they try to make ur life miserable enough to quit!!! And with the new president hes just drowning this company!!!!!"

Packer (Current Employee) says

"It used to be fun to come in and get to work.over the years management has changed with the atmosphere. Very negative place to be.standing on cement floors over the years is no good for the body especially since they took away a break.they took away alot over the years.BenefitsUnhealthy negative place to be"

Packer (Current Employee) says

"Bringing in temps only. Won’t hire people and haven’t for over 5 years. If you don’t mind being a temp with zero benefits for over a year, apply at a staffing agency."

Technician (Current Employee) says

"Management can't connect. Outdated systems. No mrp system. Extremely old school. Double standards. Ethics questionable in senior management. Employee favoritizm.NanA"

Assistant Manager (Former Employee) says

"This was a small manufacturing company in Greece. It produced stretch film and the main customers were other manufacturing companies in the local area of Thessaloniki."

Exempt Employee (Former Employee) says

"Company seems to be in the midst of some "big" changes, but most are so long overdue that I'm not sure they will have the impact intended. Technology is too far gone for band-aids, they need a major reinvestment ($$$$$). Middle Managers' lacking skillset is holding back much of the individual contributors. Very little mentoring going on, young professionals will not find career development here. Much of the staff has long tenure, but don't assume that's a good thing. Happy or stuck? THAT is the question.Work-life balance is greatMuch is circa 1978"

Operator (Current Employee) says

"The company is doing a large over haul and its devaluing the employees I am not a fan. Easy job good pay though so can’t complain too much and the people I work with are ok"

Production Worker (Former Employee) says

"It was good to work there , all co-workers got along. Motivation was what you brought to the table, management was lacking in motivating employees. Communication was not their strong point. Jobs were sent to us and we would finish them before their due dates the hardest part of this job was lack of materials. All in all I had a good work experience with my co-workers, they were a good group to work with. Thank youIt had a good work schedule Monday through Friday from 6 am to 2:30pm, rarely worked weekendsOverlooked by CEO."

Line Operator (Former Employee) says

"Flexcon took over Arlon several years earlier. When Flexcon took over Arlon sells went down, work environment changed. Hours were cut and overtime was no longer available.four day work weekovertime no longer available lay offs"

Forklift Operator (Former Employee) says

"I think it’s a place people can get a lot of promises but they don’t know how to treat people fairly in the whole company worked twenty five years for them gave them the best work enthusiasm every day"

PACKER (Former Employee) says

"A good place to work . the hours are usually 48 hours a week and that is nice if you like having a 3 day weekend. the company makes pressure sensitive laminates"
